Kaysville Fire Department

The Kaysville Fire Department is located at 175 South Main Street in Kaysville, Utah. The Kaysville Fire Department is responsible for responding and handling all Medical, Fire, Rescue, and Hazardous Material situations in the cities of Kaysville and Fruit Heights.

The Kaysville Fire Department covers a population of nearly 30,000 people and responds to around 1,200 calls a year on average.

The Kaysville Fire Department currently employs thirty-one part-time firefighters that all have EMT or Paramedic certifications. Also on the staff is a full-time chief, a part-time deputy chief/fire marshal, and two part-time assistant chiefs

Highway 89 Accident

Friday, December 4, 2009:

Tuesday evening Kaysville Fire crews responded to a motor vehicle accident at 200 North and Highway 89 involving four vehicles.  Kaysville responded to the call with Ambulance 62, Ambulance 63, Engine 61, Heavy Rescue 61, Fire 601 and had mutual-aid from Farmington Ambulance 71.

AirMed was called to the scene and several patients were also taken by ambulance to area hospitals.  The accident brought a fatality of a 17 year old female from Layton; our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

MVA 200 North Highway 89 12-1-2009

During the time of the accident Ambulance 61 was out on another medical call, but was called back to the area later for another accident on 200 North just west of Highway 89.  One patient was transported from that accident.

Monday evening Kaysville Fire also responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 89 just south Tuesday's wreck.

Motor Vehicle Accident

Tuesday, November 24, 2009:

Kaysville Fire crews responded to a motor vehicle accident at Main Street and about Burton Lane this evening for a vehicle that left the roadway and crashed into a wooded area.  Ambulance 61, Ambulance 62, Ambulance 63, Heavy Rescue 61, Engine 61 and Fire 601 responded.

One patient was extricated from the vehicle and transported by helicopter to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake.  Two patients were taken by ambulance and one patient was released at the scene.  Everyone was very lucky to make it out of this wreck.

Motor Vehicle Accident

Tuesday, November 3, 2009:

Kaysville Fire crews were alerted to a Delta response motor vehicle accident at Main Street and 200 North with a woman that hit her head on her steering wheel just prior to 12:00 hours.  Ambulance 62, Ambulance 63 and Heavy Rescue 61 responded to the call.  Two patients were transported to area hospitals.
