Live Burn Training

Thursday, February 4, 2010:

Last night at 18:00 hours Kaysville Fire crews had the opportunity to do live burn training at Sunset Drive and Smith Lane.  A house and shed were donated to the department to burn since the property is being demolished to make room for a new junior high school.

Crews brought Ambulance 61, Ambulance 62, Engine 61, Engine 62, Truck 61, Heavy Rescue 61, Brush 63 and Fire 601 to the scene.  At first the house had a hard time burning but after waiting a few minutes it got rolling.  It was a very fun and safe evening for all who participated.
