Tuesday, June 15, 2010: Yesterday afternoon Kaysville Fire crews were alerted to a structure fire with flames showing in Fruit Heights. Engine 61, Engine 62, 601, and 602 responded from Kaysville. Layton responded as automatic-aid with Truck 53 and Battalion Chief 51. 
The fire started outside the home during a home renovation project. The homeowner was able to put most of the fire out by the time crews arrived on scene. Crews did find small amounts of fire within the walls of the home but they were able to extinguish that quickly. For more pictures visit the Photo Gallery or click here. |

Monday, May 24, 2010: This afternoon around 17:00 hours Kaysville Fire crews were dispatched to a confirmed house fire with flames showing in the area of 700 East 300 North. Ambulance 61, Ambulance 63, Engine 61, Truck 61, Heavy Rescue 61 and 601 responded. Layton Fire crews responded as automatic-aid with Ambulance 52, Medic Engine 52, Engine 53 and Battalion Chief 51. Upon arrival heavy smoke was showing in the attic. Truck 61 performed a fast attack and was assisted by Engine 61. Crews were able to get a quick knock down on the home. Monday, May 24, 2010: This afternoon around 16:00 hours Kaysville Fire crews were dispatched to an Echo response medical in Fruit Heights for a female that was run over by her own vehicle. After successful CPR the patient was revived and AirMed was called to the scene. Ambulance 61, Ambulance 62 and Heavy Rescue 61 performed patient care and removal while Engine 61 and 601 set up a landing zone at a nearby church parking lot. Monday, May 3, 2010: This evening Kaysville Fire crews were requested as mutual-aid to a working house fire in Layton on Gentile Street. Layton Fire crews responded with Ambulance 51, Ambulance 52, Ambulance 53, Medic Engine 51, Medic Engine 52, Truck 53, Battalion Chief 51, 501 and other various command units. Kaysville responded with Ambulance 62, Engine 61 and Engine 62. 
The home sustained a lot of damage but fortunately no injuries were reported. The investigation as to why the fire started is still on going. For more pictures visit the Photo Gallery or click here. |

Wednesday, March 31, 2010: This morning just after 08:00 hours Kaysville Fire crews were dispatched to a Delta response motor vehicle accident at Highway 89 and 400 North. Ambulance 61, Ambulance 62, Ambulance 63, Heavy Rescue 61, 601 and 604 responded to find two vehicles had collided in the intersection leaving heavy damage to both vehicles involved. Three patients were transported to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries. 
On Monday Ambulance 61, Heavy Rescue 61, and 601 responded to a single vehicle rollover on I-15 after the driver fell asleep at the wheel. Crews had to extricate the victim due to heavy damage done to the vehicle.
